Yamaha is back with exciting news for 2026! The new off-road motorcycle lineup has just been announced—and it’s packed with cool updates. Leading the way is the all-new YZ450F, along with updates to the YZ125 two-stroke and four special 70th Anniversary Edition bikes that look amazing.

YZ450F 2026: More Control, Less Fatigue

The 2026 YZ450F has been redesigned to make it easier and more fun to ride. Yamaha engineers focused on improving how the bike feels on the track—smoother power, better handling, and less rider fatigue.

It now has a new frame, updated KYB® suspension, and a new intake system for a more connected and stable ride. One of the biggest new features is the hydraulic clutch, which gives a lighter, smoother feel. Also new: a safety feature that lets you lock the bike’s ECU using a password through the Yamaha app—great for theft protection!

Top YZ450F Features:

  • Smoother power delivery for better control

  • New lightweight frame for easier cornering

  • Hydraulic clutch with no need for mid-race adjustments

  • Updated KYB® suspension for better shock absorption

  • Slimmer body design and new seat cover for comfort and grip

  • ECU lock system to prevent theft

  • Team Yamaha Blue available in August 2025

  • 70th Anniversary Edition (white/red) available in November 2025

YZ125 2026: Classic Two-Stroke, Now Smoother

Yamaha’s YZ125 is still a favorite for two-stroke fans. For 2026, it gets some small but important updates—like better airflow and improved carburetor settings. The result? A smoother and more consistent ride across all conditions.

It keeps its lightweight aluminum frame, great KYB® suspension, and fast-revving engine. Plus, there’s a new 70th Anniversary color option that looks amazing with the classic white and red “speed block” design.

YZ125 Highlights:

  • Improved air intake and smoother power delivery

  • Light and responsive handling

  • Top-quality suspension

  • Available in Team Yamaha Blue and 70th Anniversary colors

  • Blue version in September, 70th Anniversary in November

70 Years of Yamaha: Special Edition Alert

To celebrate 70 years of Yamaha Motor Company, four models (YZ125, YZ250, YZ250F, and YZ450F) will come in a special white-and-red Anniversary Edition. These bikes mix Yamaha history with modern tech—and they look absolutely awesome.

New ECU Lock: Ride Safe, Stay Safe

For the first time ever, Yamaha is adding a lockable ECU feature on its four-stroke off-road bikes (YZ, WRF, and FX). With a password, riders can prevent the engine from starting—adding peace of mind, especially when your bike is left unattended.

Prices and Release Dates (Australia):

  • YZ450F (Blue): $15,749 AUD – August 2025

  • YZ450F (70th Anniversary): $15,949 AUD – November 2025

  • YZ125 (Blue): $12,099 AUD – September 2025

  • YZ125 (70th Anniversary): $12,299 AUD – November 2025
