Triumph Launches TF 250-C and TF 450-C: Built for Cross Country Racing!

Triumph has added two fresh bikes to its off-road line-up: the TF 250-C and TF 450-C. Designed especially for GNCC-style and long-distance cross country races, these new “C” models combine motocross performance with the stamina needed for tough terrain. They will be available in the US, Canada, France and New Zealand starting October 2025.

Power and Durability

  • TF 250-C – 250cc 4-stroke single, 47.3 PS at 13,250 rpm, 28.3 Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm

  • TF 450-C – 450cc 4-stroke single, 62.4 PS at 9,500 rpm, 49.9 Nm at 7,000 rpm

Both engines feature forged pistons, titanium valves and DLC coatings for less friction and longer life. A five-speed gearbox with quickshifter, a strong multi-plate clutch and Brembo brakes give riders smooth, dependable control during long races.

Chassis and Suspension

Triumph built a special aluminium spine frame with double cradle to balance strength and agility. KYB 48mm coil-spring forks (310mm travel) and KYB rear shock (305mm travel) are tuned for cross country riding. D.I.D DirtStar rims with Dunlop Geomax AT82 tyres add grip and stability on roots, rocks and fast straights.

Rider Technology

The bikes include three engine maps (with optional MX Tune Pro module), traction control, launch assist and clutch-less upshifts from 2nd to 5th gear. An 8.3L translucent fuel tank, bash guards, side stand and enduro handguards make them ready for real-world racing conditions.

Why It Matters

Cross country racing is all about speed, endurance and adapting to changing terrain. Triumph says these bikes were tested with pro riders around the world to deliver exactly that: smooth power for technical sections, strength for long hours, and sharp handling for competitive pace.

Bottom line: TF 250-C is the agile option for tighter trails; TF 450-C gives extra muscle for big climbs and fast open ground — both ready to hit the start line straight out of the crate.
