KTM has officially introduced its 2026 SX Motocross range, bringing a fresh wave of updates across its two-stroke and four-stroke models, as well as the Sportminicycle segment. Set to arrive at authorized dealers from August 2025, the new lineup promises refined performance, enhanced durability, and updated styling across all models.

Expanded Lineup for All Ages and Skill Levels

The 2026 KTM SX range includes a total of 10 models, ranging from entry-level mini bikes to full-size motocross machines:

Sportminicycles:

  • KTM 50 SX

  • KTM 50 SX FACTORY EDITION

  • KTM 65 SX

  • KTM 85 SX

Full-size models:

  • KTM 125 SX

  • KTM 250 SX

  • KTM 300 SX

  • KTM 250 SX-F

  • KTM 350 SX-F

  • KTM 450 SX-F

Each bike in the range benefits from KTM’s extensive race development experience in championships such as MXGP, AMA Supercross, and Motocross. Key upgrades for 2026 include chassis refinements, optimized electronics, and new ergonomic elements, along with a bold new graphics scheme featuring more orange, purple highlights, and a black powder-coated frame with matching seat.

Technological Refinements from Track to Trail

The full-size SX and SX-F models continue to prioritize handling, traction, and adjustability. Riders can further personalize performance using the optional Connectivity Unit Offroad (CUO), integrated with the KTMconnect app, which allows fine-tuning of engine mapping, traction control, and suspension behavior.

Other updates include improved radiator closure for easier maintenance, a new protector cap for the fuel injection system, and enhanced durability through revised wiring harness routing—especially for the 2-stroke models.

Sportminicycles with Enhanced Performance

The 2026 Sportminicycle models, designed for young and developing riders, receive notable updates. The KTM 50 SX and 65 SX now feature a revised WP XACT AER front fork, new triple clamps with better sealing, and improved clutch components. The 85 SX receives a redesigned rear brake lever with two adjustable positions, catering to riders transitioning from smaller models.

Additional improvements include a new throttle cable cap for better resistance, a laser-cut exhaust flange gasket, and updates to the exhaust valve system to further enhance engine reliability.

The KTM 50 SX FACTORY EDITION, with its READY TO RACE PowerParts and factory-inspired graphics, continues to serve as an aspirational step for future racers.

KTM 2026 SX Range – Key Highlights:

  • Updates inspired by KTM’s global racing success in MXGP and AMA championships

  • New graphics with increased orange tones, purple accents, black frame and seat

  • Revised chassis and suspension across both full-size and mini models

  • Improved durability and ease of maintenance

  • Wide selection of KTM PowerParts and KTM PowerWear available for customization and protection

Manfred Edlinger, Head of Motocross Development, commented:
“We are continuously refining our SX range, both in performance and design. For 2026, we’ve made significant steps forward with full-size and Sportminicycle models, ensuring that KTM continues to be a leading choice for racers of all levels.”
