KTM’s dynamic duo, Manuel Lettenbichler and Trystan Hart, delivered an outstanding performance at the 2024 Red Bull TKO, claiming first and second place on the podium. The Red Bull TKO, one of North America’s most prestigious hard enduro races, took place in Sequatchie, Tennessee, marking its 14th edition this year. As the fifth round of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship, the race saw Lettenbichler narrowly edge out Hart by just five seconds.

Lettenbichler secured the pole position after posting the fastest time during Saturday’s qualifying runs, setting the stage for a strong showing in Sunday’s three-stage knockout races. He dominated the first knockout race, securing his spot in the final with confidence. Hart, however, was hot on his heels all day, ensuring a thrilling showdown in the final race.

The final stage, held on a short but challenging course, lasted 35 minutes plus one lap. The course was a grueling mix of rocky riverbeds and steep climbs, testing both the skill and endurance of the riders. With temperatures soaring to 35 degrees, Lettenbichler and Hart battled fiercely, often wheel to wheel. In the end, Lettenbichler claimed the victory by a mere five seconds, earning the Red Bull TKO crown.

This win extends Lettenbichler’s lead in the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship to nine points, solidifying his position at the top. The next round of the championship will be the Sea to Sky event in Turkey, scheduled for October 10-12.

Manuel Lettenbichler: “Winning here today was incredible. Trystan pushed me all day, and I had to give it everything to take the win. The heat and the tough course made this race exhausting, but I’m thrilled to have come out on top. I’m looking forward to a bit of rest in September before I start training for Sea to Sky.”

Trystan Hart: “I really wanted to win today, so it’s a bit disappointing to finish just five seconds behind. Manuel is an amazing rider, and you have to be at your absolute best to beat him. I wasn’t quite there today, but I’ll be back next year aiming for that top step.”
