Honda Europe has officially presented Montesa’s 2026 model year updates, showcasing a refreshed lineup that combines new styling, Euro5+ compliance, and practical upgrades. The range now features three models: the Cota 4RT 301RR, Cota 4RT 260R, and the versatile 4Ride. The Race Replica version of the 301RR will no longer be available.

Fresh Looks, Same DNA

All three models now come with exclusive new graphics and full Euro5+ emissions compliance, underlining Montesa’s commitment to combining modern design with technical excellence.

Cota 4RT 301RR – The Flagship

The 301RR continues as Montesa’s flagship trial bike, powered by a proven 298cc engine and equipped with high-end components such as a machined fork triple clamp, aluminium frame, wave brakes, and carbon protectors. For 2026, it introduces a bold turquoise, magenta, and white livery, making it stand out visually while maintaining competition-ready performance.

Cota 4RT 260R – Accessible Performance

Designed for a wide spectrum of riders, from enthusiasts to amateurs, the 260R carries many of the premium features of the 301RR, including Showa suspension and an aluminium frame. Its new red, black, and white graphics highlight Montesa’s racing heritage while keeping a clean, classic look.

4Ride – Versatility Enhanced

The 4Ride receives the most significant updates for 2026. With a revised exhaust system and aluminium muffler, it now meets Euro5+ standards. A practical addition is the adoption of the Cota’s side stand, enhancing day-to-day convenience. Its new black-and-white colour scheme with golden details and anodized rims gives the model a refined, premium presence.

Built in Barcelona, Trusted Worldwide

Every Montesa is built exclusively at the Montesa Honda factory in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, Barcelona. The facility handles the entire process in-house, from engine assembly to frame and swingarm production, ensuring the highest levels of quality and reliability.

Montesa also announced a new line of accessories for the Cota and 4Ride models. The range includes paddock stands, mats, protective covers, and seats, all designed with the brand’s distinctive red-and-black style. More options will be added soon, giving riders the chance to further personalize and protect their motorcycles.
