After months of uncertainty, the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship (HEWC) is officially back for 2025 – and it’s returning with a new direction under fresh leadership. Swiss-based sports management company ProTouchGlobal GmbH has taken over as the new promoter, aiming to lead the championship into a new era.

The updated provisional calendar brings some unexpected changes. One of the most iconic events, Erzbergrodeo, is no longer part of the series. In its place, the stunning Silver Kings Hard Enduro in the USA makes its debut, alongside the return of legendary events like Romaniacs and Roof of Africa.

The season is set to begin very soon, with the first round kicking off at Valleys Hard Enduro in Wales on May 10-11. Several rounds are still under negotiation, including Abestone in Italy.

2025 HEWC Provisional Calendar Highlights:

  • May 10–11: Valleys Hard Enduro (UK)

  • June 12–14: Silver Kings (USA)

  • July 22–26: Red Bull Romaniacs (Romania)

  • September 6–7: Abestone (Italy) it’s not clear yet!

  • September 20–21: Hixpania (Spain)

  • October 9–11: Sea to Sky (Turkey)

  • October 24–25: Getzen Rodeo (Germany)

  • November 20–22: Roof of Africa (Lesotho)

With a mix of classic and new races, the 2025 season looks set to challenge riders across continents once again. ProTouchGlobal promises to bring more visibility, better organization, and long-term growth to Hard Enduro – all while staying true to the sport’s rugged, no-compromise nature.

John Collins, the FIM Enduro Commission Director added: “The FIM welcomes our new Promoter for FIM Hard Enduro World Championship and it promises to be exciting times with many new initiatives planned to raise the status of this series. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the previous Promoter and their staff for all the work done in promoting this Championship with the FIM to date and working to ensure that Hard Enduro has maintained its important place in the Enduro community. A lot of work will be needed but I am confident the future of FIM Hard Enduro World Championship is now secure and will grow and be something we will all be proud of.”

“We are already in talks with the riders the teams and the event organizers finding ways to improve the championship for the long-term future of this sport,” said Ross Whitehead – HEWC Director. “We’re here to push boundaries and build a championship worthy of the legends who race it.
