A new Hard Enduro round is coming to the north. Sweden will host a stop of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship for the first time ever with the brand-new Forza Orza, taking place on 20–23 August 2026 in Orsa Grönklitt.
The announcement was made during the final round of the 2025 season, confirming that this new Swedish event will officially join the 2026 championship calendar. Rider registration and ticket sales will open on 1 January 2026.
A New Destination in the Heart of Sweden
Orsa is located in central Sweden, surrounded by forests and overlooking the beautiful Lake Orsasjon. It’s about four hours from both Stockholm and Oslo and offers the kind of mixed terrain Hard Enduro fans expect—steep climbs, woods, ski slopes, and rocky sections.
Event director and KONG Event CEO Glenn Olsson said bringing the World Championship to Sweden happened even faster than they planned:
“Our goal was to bring a Hard Enduro World Championship race to Sweden within five years. Getting it already in the first edition feels almost unreal. We’re excited to welcome riders like Manuel Lettenbichler, Billy Bolt and many others to compete on Swedish soil.”
Championship Director Ross Whitehead added that Sweden’s passionate fan base and tough terrain will add something completely new to the series.
Two Races: Hard Enduro + Traditional Enduro
Forza Orza won’t just be a Hard Enduro round. The organizers are also preparing a traditional enduro lap race, designed to be accessible for amateurs while still challenging for experienced riders.
A test race was held in August 2025, and riders gave very positive feedback—especially about the varied terrain.
According to Olsson, the long-term goal is clear:
“We want to build Northern Europe’s biggest enduro festival within the next five years.”
Svemo’s Enduro convener Tomm Holm highlighted that Orsa isn’t usually a race venue, making this event extra special for Swedish enduro.
What to Expect – 20–23 August 2026
Riders and spectators can look forward to a full weekend combining racing and festival energy:
-
A flowing traditional enduro lap race on ski tracks, forest trails, asphalt and wooden bridges
-
A tougher Hard Enduro course, including the official World Championship round
-
Spectator areas close to the action
-
Activities, music, and a compact festival layout
-
Stunning views across Orsasjon
Both racing categories and spectator tickets will open for registration on 1 January 2026.
Why It Matters
Forza Orza brings the Hard Enduro World Championship to Sweden for the first time and opens the door to a unique northern terrain. With its mix of forest, slopes and technical trails, Orsa Grönklitt is set to become one of the most interesting new stops of the 2026 calendar.
