First Look: 2026 Beta RR Race Models – Engine, Gearbox & Map Updates!

Beta Motor has officially unveiled its 2026 RR Race line-up, bringing significant updates to both two-stroke and four-stroke models. With a completely redesigned 250 2T engine, new gearbox improvements for the 125 and 200 two-strokes, plus revised engine maps across the four-stroke range, the Italian brand continues to push performance and durability to new levels.

250 RR Race – Major Engine Redesign

The 250 two-stroke sees the most dramatic change, sharing crankshaft and cylinder components with the 300 model. Updates include:

  • Shorter stroke (72 mm → 69.9 mm) and larger bore (66 mm → 67.4 mm)

  • Redesigned transfer ports and a new piston

  • New cylinder head combustion chamber with a double spark plug system

  • More torque, broader power delivery, and improved carburation stability

The dual-spark system not only optimizes ignition but also ensures reliability—if one plug fails, the engine keeps running. Combined with stronger crankcase bearings and a lower center of gravity, the 250 now promises smoother handling and more usable power.

300 RR Race – Shared Gains

The 300 two-stroke shares many of the 250’s new technologies, including the double spark plug setup and reinforced components. Both bikes also feature a longer second gear, offering smoother transitions and better performance in technical enduro conditions.

125 & 200 RR Race – Gearbox Updates

  • 125 RR: Updated gearbox with stronger gears and refined calibration for quicker, more precise shifts.

  • 200 RR: Reinforced internal transmission ratios for improved load distribution and reliability under heavy use.

These refinements boost durability without altering the overall riding feel, especially important for competitive racing environments.

Four-Stroke RR Race – New Engine Maps

For 2026, the 4T line-up (250, 350, 430, 480) gains revised ECU mapping. Beta engineers promise smoother, more linear power across the rev range, making the bikes easier to control in technical terrain while maintaining top-end performance.

Race-Ready Components Across the Range

As expected, all RR Race models keep their premium kit:

  • KYB 48mm AOS Closed Cartridge Fork and KYB C46 RCU Monoshock

  • Quick-release front axle

  • Reinforced two-component handguards

  • Ergal alloy footpegs with interchangeable steel pins

  • CNC sprockets, anodised details (lever, caps, chain tensioners)

  • Non-slip race seat with document pocket

  • Distinctive race graphics

2026 Beta RR Race models will be available at authorized dealers worldwide later this year.
