The opening day of racing at the sixth round of the Paulo Duarte FIM EnduroGP World Championship in Wales was a memorable one for British fans. Honda Racing RedMoto Enduro Team’s Steve Holcombe took the overall victory, while Beta Factory Racing’s Brad Freeman followed closely to secure second place, making it a British 1-2 finish at the FORSITESERVICES GP of Wales.

After a 15-year absence, the Paulo Duarte FIM EnduroGP World Championship returned to Wales, with spectators eagerly lining the special tests. The day began with a burst of excitement and anticipation as fans hoped for a British victory.
The opening ACERBIS Cross Test was located just meters from the start ramp, immediately challenging riders with a combination of motocross circuits and fast, flowing grass tracks. Brad Freeman came out strong, topping the ACERBIS Cross Test, closely followed by Steve Holcombe, just one second behind. Andrea Verona of GASGAS Factory Racing was a close third.

In the Enduro Women category, RIEJU Factory Racing’s Mireia Badia extended her win streak to four, overcoming multiple mistakes to claim victory. Rosie Rowett secured second place, giving British fans another reason to cheer, while France’s Elodie Chaplot finished third.
In the GALFER FIM Junior Enduro World Championship, Australia’s Angus Riordan made a dream debut, taking his first win in EnduroGP. Max Ahlin finished second, with Leo Joyon in third.
