The 2025 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship begins this weekend in Wales with the Valleys Hard Enduro, and two of the biggest names in the sport are ready to battle: Manuel Lettenbichler and Billy Bolt.
After a dramatic and challenging 2024 season, both riders are coming in strong. Mani is aiming for his fourth consecutive world title, fully recovered from a knee injury that sidelined him during SuperEnduro. Meanwhile, Bolt is also back in action after his own long recovery and is hungry for results in the Hard Enduro series.
Lettenbichler: The Reigning Champion
Manuel Lettenbichler enters the season as the man to beat. Riding the KTM 300 EXC Champion Edition, he’s been training hard and feels fully fit again. Last year, he missed one race due to surgery but still fought back to win the championship — proving once again that he’s one of the toughest riders out there.
“I fought really hard to finish the season and get my third title in a row,” Mani said. “Now I’m 100% ready to go again!”
He’ll also take part in the legendary Red Bull Erzbergrodeo and Red Bull Romaniacs, aiming to defend his titles at both.
Bolt: SuperEnduro King, Ready for the Hills
Billy Bolt, the five-time SuperEnduro World Champion, returns to Hard Enduro on his Husqvarna TE300 two-stroke. He had a rough 12 months with injury and surgery, but came back strong at the end of 2024, winning Hixpania and showing he’s still got the speed.
Now, he’s focused on a full outdoor season again — something he hasn’t done in a while.
“I’m feeling confident and can’t wait to race properly again,” said Billy. “The team and I have worked hard. Let’s go!”
