“the most enjoyable extreme enduro on the planet” – and produce a video series covering their attempt at the 4-day event. The goal is to follow KLIM’s Communications Manager Lukas Eddy and KLIM Backcountry Team Member Brock Buttars, showing the challenges of racing an international hard enduro without noteworthy hard enduro qualifications. The icing on the cake: both riders learned of the opportunity to race Sea to Sky only two weeks prior…
Brock is a semi-retired motocross racer turned accomplished snowbiker, with his family and moto business waiting back home. Lukas is an enthusiastic hobbyist trail rider excited for a new challenge. Both are stoked for the chance to race and share a common goal of surviving all four days – if nothing else, the fate of the race coverage project would rely on them staying healthy.
It’s not all fancy pro riding and slick moves, this shows the struggles and exhaustion, and really makes you appreciate both the talent of pro riders and the passion of amateurs from all around the world.
