If you thought hard enduro was just about races and podiums, think again.
Welcome to the raw, unfiltered, muddy world of Hard Enduro Burros — a behind-the-scenes look at some of America’s most talented and fearless riders as they prep, train, and straight-up send it in the gnarliest terrain North America has to offer.

And in Episodes 5 and 6, the Hard Enduro Burros head back to Vancouver Island, where the moss is slicker, the climbs are steeper, and the laughs are just as loud as the revs.

Let’s break it down.

What is Burros?

The Burros aren’t your average hard enduro team.
They’re a tight-knit group of pro riders — including Trystan Hart, James Flynn, Branden Petrie, and Spenser Wilton — who’ve come together not just to compete, but to train, push each other, and share what life is really like between race weekends.

Think of it like a mix between a training camp, a riding trip, and a reality show — but with more throttle, more crashes, and zero fake drama.

This series isn’t filmed on a flat parking lot or a controlled course 🙂 The terrain is real, the crashes are real, and so is the bond between these guys. You get to see how they prep for the toughest events in the world, including US Hard Enduro and FIM races — with some solid banter and electric moments in between.

Rock Slabs & Mossy Mayhem

If you’ve never ridden Vancouver Island, imagine this:
Steep rock slabs covered in green moss that looks dry, but turns into slimy ice the moment a tire touches it. It’s beautiful… and brutal.

But that’s exactly why the Burros chose it.

The boys challenge each other with increasingly insane lines — up waterfalls, across off-camber moss ridges, and over splats that would make most riders think twice. The idea is simple: find the gnarliest line, send it, and push each other to the edge.

Spenny and the Stark VARG: Electric Goes Hard Enduro

One of the standout moments is Spenser Wilton tackling the madness on a Stark VARG, the electric bike that’s been making waves in motocross and enduro scenes. But not many have dared to take it into real-deal hard enduro terrain… until now.

Spenny launches that thing up near-vertical walls, splats into ledges, and even throws down a few save-it-or-send-it moments that just might qualify as the gnarliest VARG clips online right now.

Want to see what the future of hard enduro looks like? This is it.

Trystan Hart may be known for his race-day precision, but in these episodes, we see a different side.
Off the clock, he’s loud, unpredictable, and constantly stirring the pot — picking the hardest lines, egging everyone on, and creating that perfect storm of peer pressure and progression.

Flynn doesn’t say much — but when he rides, it’s all business.
He consistently makes the hardest lines look almost easy, showing off a level of control and consistency that quietly raises the bar.

Then there’s Branden Petrie, the fresh face in the Burro squad, bringing a 4-stroke flavor to the group’s mostly 2-stroke world. On his 350, Branden offers a different rhythm — smoother, heavier, and calculated. It’s refreshing to see how bike choice shapes line choice.

What makes this series so special isn’t just the riding. It’s the vibe. These guys aren’t just teammates or competitors — they’re friends.
They laugh when someone crashes (after checking they’re okay, of course), push each other to try insane stuff, and celebrate the wins — even if the “win” is just making it to the top of a mossy hill without sliding back down.

There’s no prize money. No timing system. No crowds.
Just five dudes, five bikes, one camera, and the pursuit of progression.
