Wait is over for enduro fans! The 2025 FIM EnduroGP World Championship starts in Algarve, Portugal. This opening round will bring together the world’s best enduro riders to face tough terrain and exciting challenges.
What Happened Last Year?
The 2024 season opener took place in Fafe, Portugal, and delivered unforgettable moments. Steve Holcombe made a strong debut with the Honda Racing Redmoto Enduro Team, while Josep Garcia and Andrea Verona battled hard for podium finishes. In the Women’s category, with Jane Daniels not competing, new champions stepped up to shine.

What to Expect in 2025 GP of Portugal?
This year, the GP of Portugal in Algarve will test riders with fast sections and technical challenges. Super Test on Friday evening will provide an exciting start, followed by Saturday and Sunday’s main races on a 60 km loop completed three times.
- ACERBIS Cross Test: A high-speed challenge.
- MAXXIS Enduro Test: A technical section that can decide the race.
- POLISPORT Extreme Test: The toughest part of the event.
Fierce Competition Ahead!
Steve Holcombe starts his first season in Enduro1, facing competition from Josep Garcia and Andrea Verona. In Enduro3, Brad Freeman will fight to defend his title.
In the Women’s category, Francesca Nocera, Rosie Rowett, and Mireia Badia are among the top contenders. Also, Rachel Gutish from the USA will make her EnduroGP debut.
