Stage 8 of the Dakar Rally 2025 was full of excitement, tough moments, and big achievements. Riders had to face over 730 kilometers of rain, rocks, dunes, and tricky tracks. It was a true test of their skill and determination.
The day wasn’t easy for everyone. Pablo Quintanilla had a hard crash after the third checkpoint and needed medical help. Adrien Van Beveren and Luciano Benavides stopped to help him, showing great sportsmanship. After their time was adjusted, they were able to stay in the race.
Daniel Sanders is still leading the rally by 11 minutes, showing amazing consistency. Luciano Benavides, however, stole the spotlight by winning Stage 8, despite the challenges of dust and rough terrain.
In the Rally 2 category, Michael Docherty ended Edgar Canet and Tobias Ebster’s winning streak with a strong performance. Emanuel Gyenes stayed on top in the Original by Motul class.
As one rider said, “Dakar can change so quickly. One second, everything is fine; the next, you’re out of the race. That’s what makes it so special.”
With more stages to come, the excitement is far from over. Stay tuned for more action and surprises from Dakar 2025!
