Polisport GP of Italy in Darfo Boario Terme delivered two days of intense racing, dramatic crashes, and unforgettable moments for round six of the Paulo Duarte FIM EnduroGP World Championship.
Garcia Crowned First World Champion of 2025
Day one belonged to Josep Garcia (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing), who dominated the tests to win EnduroGP overall and secure the Enduro1 World Championship title — the first crown of the 2025 season.
“It’s been one of the hardest days of my life, but I kept pushing despite the pain,” Garcia shared after battling through an injury to finish on top.
Verona Takes the Win on Home Soil
Italian favourite Andrea Verona (GASGAS Factory Racing) rose to the occasion on day two. Cheered on by home fans, he rode a near-perfect race to top the EnduroGP class, clawing back crucial championship points and celebrating his first overall win of the season.
“Winning at home feels amazing. The crowd was incredible all weekend,” Verona said after stepping onto the top step of the podium.
A Weekend of Challenges and Triumphs
Rain and slippery conditions on Friday’s Super Test made for tricky lines over logs and rocks, catching out many riders. But the mix of grass tests, extreme river sections, and technical enduro tests pushed every competitor to their limits — exactly what Italian Enduro fans came to see.
With just one round left in Germany, the championship fight remains wide open in several classes.
