With a history of winning races and a trophy room full of victories, KTM is no stranger to dominating top-tier cross-country racing titles. For 2025, the KTM XC and XC-F series bring the expertise of KTM Factory Racing to the trails to maintain their dominance.
Leading the development charge, the frame now features visible cutouts and different tube-wall thicknesses around the headstock area, with the same treatment applied to the engine mount and rear shock mount areas.
These changes have been specifically engineered to enhance chassis flex characteristics, reduce weight by approximately 300g, all while maintaining overall stability and improving cornering behavior. Updated swingarms with machined chain sliders for improved mud dispersal, as well as updated rear brake pedals for enhanced durability and resistance to bending, complete the frame changes.
To complement the updates, the WP XACT Closed Cartridge spring fork and XACT linkage shock come with revised settings to accommodate the increased flex and reduced weight. The WP XACT shock also benefits from an updated linkage with renewed seals and smaller diameter linkage bolts, all directly borrowed from the KTM Factory Racing Team’s setup, optimized for weight savings and stiffness.
